An Open Letter

A well written and passionate open letter to the judge of the Supreme Court of India who criminalised gay sex. Seriously what were they thinking? It shows the sorry state affairs of India where we have to bend down to narrow-minded, fundamentalists who go around calling themselves leaders of religious institutions, working for the welfare of people. This law should be immediately be struck down, and some sensibility brought back.

Hum woh nahi rahe (I am no longer the same)

Hum woh nahi rahe
Ab hum woh nahi rahe jo zameen, aasman ko hila sakte hai,
Ab hum woh nahi rahe jo duniya ko hara sakte hai,
Aap ke haath mere haath me ho tho, Byrappa,
Hum ab bhi poori kainat ko jeet sakte hai.
English Translation: (Kinda)
I am no longer the same
I am no longer the same, who could move earth and sky,
I am no longer the same, who could defeat the whole world,
If your hand is in my hand, however, Byrappa,
Even today, I can win over the whole universe.
